Places we have never been to... striking off tea at Westminster Palace, London as the guest of Small Business Britain
Places we have never been to... Let's strike off Westminster Palace, London UK as our Communications Director, Margaret was invited to afternoon tea at the House of Lords
One of the jobs of the Secret Projects communications team is to take us to places we have never been to and on Wednesday 12th October, we certainly did that as Margaret, our Communications Director attended afternoon tea at The UK House of Lords, as the guest of Small Business Britain.
Our CEO, Fritha had attended a sustainability for business programme held in conjunction with the University of Brighton, and tea at the Lords was the concluding event as the programme drew to a close.
Of course, the tea was delicious with prosecco and it was fun to be able to peep inside this historic building... but the real treat was being able to meet other business owners and their teams and swap experiences and ideas. There were some really ballsy and inspiring small business owners there and we felt privileged to be among them.
We would like to say a huge thank you to Small Business Britain and the University of Brighton for putting together such a comprehensive and informative course. We learned so much and will be using this learning to enhance many aspects of our business.
