Community Groups and Secret Projects working together to empower women in India!
Bookham Women's Institute (WI) Group in Surrey, UK are just one of many Community Groups who have invited us along to talk about our mission to empower women in India. Given by Secret Projects CEO, Fritha, the talk was a huge success, with the group members eager to learn about our work in India and to discuss ways that they can work with us towards a world where all women have the confidence and resources to maker choices, thrive and contribute to the strengthening of their communities.
We were delighted to receive such a wonderful comment from Elizabeth, one of the group members:
'Fritha was booked to speak at our WI in June 2020 prior to the lockdown situation. On asking if she could do this via zoom, she was most obliging and came onto our screens like a force of nature. We were all very keen to hear about Secret Project and we were all gripped by her wonderful journey and completely blown away by her enthusiasm and social entrepreneurial spirit. We were only disappointed by the fact we couldn’t be with her face to face, as we could feel her passion for Secret Projects exude through our screens. What a fabulous enterprise, a fabulous story and a fabulous speaker!!!! THANK YOU'
Plans are already underway for Bookham WI to put together a Secret Sari Dress shoot and to also host a Secret Products Party shopping evening, when it becomes safe to do so. Watch this space and huge thanks to this wonderful group for their commitment, enthusiasm and support.
