Are you a Shareholder in SPCBS? Can't attend our AGM? Appoint a proxy to vote for you... here's how
Are you a Shareholder in SPCBS? Can't attend our AGM on 21st September 2022 at 1pm BST? Appoint a proxy to vote for you... here's how.
It's important to us that we give our Shareholders as much opportunity as possible to participate in the affairs of Secret Projects. We completely understand that it's not always possible to attend the AGM (Annual General Meeting) of the Society, so we have put a system in place that allows our Shareholders to appoint a proxy to attend the meeting on their behalf and cast their vote/s.
If you would like to appoint a proxy for our AGM, this is the process to follow:
Inform us who the person is by emailing us at invest@secretprojects.org and ask them to attend the meeting on your behalf. Parents and grandparents are able to act as proxy on behalf of their children and grandchildren, under the age of 16, who have shares in SPCBS.
If your proxy is a Shareholder, they will have 2 votes on the day and if not, they will have one vote.
Voting via your proxy
There are 2 ways your proxy can represent you:
Either: advise them how you would like to vote
Or: allow them to vote freely on your behalf
At the start of the meeting the chairperson will invite everyone who is a proxy to share who they are representing.
Appointing a proxy is the best way to ensure that your voice is heard at our meetings, and we encourage all our Shareholders who can't come in person to appoint someone to vote on their behalf.
