Make a contribution to Secret Projects
We are often asked by our Customers, Shareholders and Friends about ways they can support our our vision of a world where all women have the confidence and resources to make choices, thrive and contribute to the strengthening of their communities beyond purchasing our Secret Products (the name we give to our Ranges of clothing and homeware) and purchasing Shares in Secret Projects Community Benefit Society.
In answer to this, we are delighted to detail 2 options below:
Make a one off contribution
Secret Projects does not hold charitable status and as such, we are unable to accept donations. However, we are delighted to be able to accept one off contributions, although as a non charitable contribution, we are unable to claim Gift Aid from the UK government and individuals are not eligible for tax relief.
Our Sponsorship Programme
Support our programme in India directly through our Sponsorship Programme. There are a number of options to choose from and the details are as follows:
£60 sponsors the rent for our unit in Bengaluru for one month
£30 sponsor the cost of the utilities for our unit in Bengaluru for one month
£250 sponsors a vacuum cleaner to assist with the vacuum packing of stock being shipped to our business unit in the UK
£15 sponsors a pair of sewing scissors - we need 3 pairs in total
£250 sponsors a new treadle sewing machine with a motor to replace one of our beloved machines that no longer works and sadly, cannot be repaired.
£20 sponsors a Secret Projects Maker from our Benglauru Maker Community to resume production. There will be 24 Makers in total.
All contributions, whether as sponsorship or a one off contribution, will be used wisely to econonomically empower women in India.
