Buy shares for a child or young person in SPCBS and start them on their ethical investment journey!

When we put Secret Projects 'up for sale' in November 2019, we wanted to be able to allow people to buy shares on behalf of children and young people. We firmly believe that within the next generation of youngsters sits a large number of future social entrepreneurs and potential ethical investors and, we want to help them with this journey. So, we actively encourage the friends and family of children and young people to think about purchasing shares in Secret Projects Community Benefit Society on their behalf

We haven't been disappointed! A number of adults have bought shares for the children and young people in their lives, often as a birthday or seasonal gift. We were delighted to have received the message below from Nita, who purchased shares for her grandchildren as a Christmas present.

“As a grandmother, it is important for me to know that the boys are being brought up to appreciate that presents need not be solely about them. I gave the Secret Projects shares to them as part of a Christmas gift. I feel that involvement in this project is so worthwhile and hope that the boys will enjoy learning about their investment and become involved and excited by its success in bringing an enhanced quality of life for other families”.

Our young Shareholders receive a Young Shareholders Pack that provides them with information about what owning shares means, as well having having some fun games and facts about India! To learn more about purchasing shares on behalf of a child or young person click here.

All Shareholders are invited to an Extraordinary General Meeting of SPCBS We would like to invite you to an Extraordinary General Meeting of Secret . . . Projects Community Benefit Society on Wednesday 11th January 2023 as we want to discuss an important business opportunity that has been presented to us. In brief, the opportunity is: To purchase a small business that aligns closely with our business values. The advantages are: It provides an inroad into the European market, removing the barrier we continue to face post Brexit It also provides an inroad into the American market It is in the ethical business sector, which we know is a growing consumer market An important note: The opportunity to take advantage of this new investment venture is not limited to our existing Shareholders alone. As the meeting is an Extraordinary Meeting, rather than a General Meeting, people who are not Shareholders can attend. Therefore, we are encouraging Shareholders to ask anyone from their networks who may be keen to hear more about this ethical investment opportunity to join the meeting. We look forward to seeing our Shareholders at our Extraordinary General Meeting on Wednesday 11th Januar7 2023 at 12030-1.30pm GMT to provide more information.
