Donate your unwanted fabric and sewing supplies to our social enterprise
Share
We can make such good use of your unwanted fabric and sewing supplies through our new project Sewstainable.
Sewstainable is a project run by Secret Projects that gives second changes to unwanted fabric and sewing supplies.
Over the past two years we have been adding new products, made from donated fabric and sewing supplies, to our online stores, and it has developed into a small but very good source of income for our Community Benefit Society.
The pre-loved sewing supplies market is only getting stronger and is something we are keen to develop and grow and are therefore putting out an 'ask' to our customers and supporters (and of course, anyone else who reads this!) for your unwanted fabric and sewing items. We would LOVE them!

Sentimental Value - we understand
Sewing items can often have sentimental value - in fact, our one of our Shareholders, Margaret, was just telling us about a pin cushion she has of her mother's that she could only give away to someone who would really appreciate, and make good use of. Maybe this has resonated with you. We always taken in donations with real respect for their owner. We pass them on carefully.
Our promised to those that donate is that we will try everything we can to get the unwanted fabric and sewing suppllies into the hands of another sewer or crafter. We hate recycling fabrics or putting items in landfill.
